When?: Tuesday 7th- Saturday 11th July 2009 Where?: Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew Set in the beauty of Kew Gardens, the Kew Summer Festival, or as it is now more commonly called “Summer Swing at Kew” is a series of summer concerts held at the gardens each year. The 2009 line up promises to be one of the most successful years ever with Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra both opening and closing the event with performances on the 7th and 11th of July. Fans of tribute bands will love the line up of the evenings of Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th of July as Bjorn Again, Jive Talkin’ – The Bee Gees story, The Bootleg Beatles and the Counterfeit Stones will once again prove that they are almost as good as the original. Friday night sees the Gypsy Kings and Motimba booked to provide their own distinct ambience and sound to the party. The event has become a huge success in recent years and seems likely to continue through 2009 and beyond!
